Hi I sent mail describing the issue. I received a price (and info re postage cost) and despatched the broken Archos. It arrived back in less than 10 days and is working as new. I can not comment if the repair price was good or not as I have no comparison but the repair was as stated and I now have a fully functioning device. Thanks

Archos refused to repair it as it was out of warrantee but offered to sell me a newer model at a discounted rate. ARCHOS REPAIRS did the job for £19.99 and very quick service thank You
